This documentary is a journey through the creative world of the famous italian theater director and playwright, Emma Dante. Her city, Palermo, her method of work, the obsessions, the shows, the group of actors with whom she shared a brilliant career: from the clandestine rehearsals in a former prison to the direction of "Carmen" at La Scala Milan.
